UPDATE!!! - Goose is in PARTIAL REMISSION!!!
Goose has successfully completed a 4-week course of chemotherapy known as Vinblastine. Much to the surprise and amazement of our Veterinarians, he is in partial remission.
He has gained 8 pounds since we took him out of the NYCACC and looks like a different dog - his eyes are bright and his coat is gleaming!
The medical care coupled with loving committed volunteers, good quality food, and loads of love have brought our Goosey to a healthier place!
His next course of treatment is after-chemo care called Palladia, the first FDA-approved drug for canine cancer. Oncologists have had tremendous results on this drug with very
few side effects. Goose’s oncologist is “cautiously optimistic” that in 6 months time, he will be able to get this
miracle boy into full remission!
Goose so deserves the gift of a full healthy life - the joy he brings to all that meet him is ridiculous - he is always smiling, always wagging, and always reminding us to live every day to its
fullest ... in a nutshell, this little blue pittie is AMAZING - and deserves the best care, but this care is expensive, even at our rescue rate...
Please help support one of the sweetest, most deserving dogs that we have had the honor to rescue with a tax-deductible donation to Goose‘s Emergency Medical & Hospice Fund.
